So the end of 2024 saw you the community choose William Wroe Meadows as the permanent name for our much loved and now permanently protected community green space. Although the intention was to celebrate this with the 'Fields in Trust' award and the plaque unveiling in last years Autumn half term break, the decision was taken to move it to spring time this year and with this the hope of fairer weather.
In the coming days and weeks we will be engaging collaboratively with the Trafford Council not only with the planning of the unveiling and subsequent celebration to mark this momentous moment for our community, but also in planning the fabulous and exciting proposals for the future of the site.
